Earlier today, Durban Metro Police arrested 9 individuals for loitering for the purpose of prostitution along Lilian Ngoyi Road. This operation was conducted in accordance with the eThekwini Municipality Bylaws, which strictly prohibit such activities.

Durban Metro remain committed to upholding the law and ensuring the safety and dignity of our communities. We urge all residents to report any suspicious or illegal activities to assist in creating a safer Durban for everyone on 031 36 10 000
