Man Hacked To Death By Drinking Buddy in Riyadh - KZN

A 30 year old man was hacked to death by his drinking buddy at an informal settlement in Riyadh - KZN Saturday afternoon.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 18:16.

On arrival, Reaction Officers & RUSA Paramedics were directed to the scene by members of the public.

The body of the victim was discovered amongst wood & iron homes. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.

According to residents, the deceased was consuming alcohol with a friend when they began arguing and assaulting each other.

The suspect proceeded to his residence but returned with a panga and hacked his drinking buddy to death. He thereafter fled the scene.
