Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 00:06 from the victim.
On arrival at his residence, he informed Reaction Officers that the suspects accosted him at his driveway gate.
They robbed him of his cellphone before they forced him into the car and sped off. He was dumped a short distance away.
The man returned to his residence and borrowed a cellphone to contact RUSA.
The vehicle was recovered abandoned on Vincent Dickenson Road in Canelands - KZN shortly thereafter by the Verulam SAPS and a Tracking company. The battery and sound system were stolen.
The victim was not injured.
