Thirty seven (37) year old Ramit Anee Rudh (picture 4) is being sought for the Attempted Murder, Kidnapping and Robbery of his thirty four (34) year old wife.

The victim contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) this afternoon (Sunday 14/04/024) requesting assistance to locate her husband and two of his accomplices.

The female explained that on Wednesday (13/03/2024) at approximately 13:30, her husband advised her that he needed to visit an attorney to fetch documents and needed her to accompany him.

The husband then drove them both in her white GWM with registration ND 538 455 (picture 6) to an isolated location in Amanzimtoti - KZN.

While questioning his intentions regarding the unsual location, a man later identified as Kyle Clayton (picture 5) opened her door and dragged her out of the vehicle.

Her husband thereafter deprived her of her two (2) cellphones. Clayton and a second male began strangling her with a rope. Her husband watched and instructed the men to speed up the process while she was being strangled.

The female thereafter lost consciousness & woke up in a sugar cane plantation in Ifafa - KZN approximately 45 kilometres from Amanzimtoti - KZN. She was in the front seat of a silver Opel Corsa (registration unknown) driven by Clayton.

It is believed that her body was to be dumped in the sugar cane plantation. Her husband and the third suspect, an unknown coloured male were not present.

She begged Clayton to spare her life but he ignored her pleas and made telephonic contact with someone informing them that the female was still alive.

The victim believed that Clayton was in contact with her husband. During the conversation, he advised the person that he had no fuel and cigarettes.

Clayton advised the female that her husband was returning. He became agitated after a lengthy waiting period and drove off with the victim.

He advised her that he was proceeding to purchased cigarettes. While travelling at approximately 80 km/h, the woman opened the car door and jumped from the moving vehicle.

She fled to three (3) males who were waiting on the side of the road. Their female employer arrived shortly thereafter and the victim explained her situation.

Clayton attempted to convince them that he was assisting her but drove off when they contacted Law Enforcement.

The female employer then provided her with a cellphone to contact family and transported the victim to her residence in the area.

Her family then waited for relatives to fetch the victim who was thereafter transported back to Durban - KZN and received medical attention.

The woman later established that R34 000 in cash and transferred from her bank account. She scrutinised her bank statement and discovered that R300 was transferred via E-Wallet at the time she was held captive in Ifafa - KZN.

The money may been paid to Clayton to purchase fuel and cigarettes. She believed that her own money was used to pay the suspects to kill her. She saved the cellphone number and viewed the WhatsApp status.

She confirmed from the display picture that the number belonged to Kyle Clayton. The female has since received multiple voice notes and calls from unfamiliar numbers from individuals informing her that they were going to kill her if the matter was pursued.

A criminal case (126/03/2024) was registered at the Amanzimtoti SAPS. The Investigating Officer informed a Reaction Officer during a telephonic conversation that the suspects have been evading Police since the matter was reported.

He requested that the information be circulated in an attempt to apprehend the trio. The victim & the Investigating Officer has granted permission for the use of the images published.

The victims car remains unrecovered. The suspects are condidered dangerous and should not be approached.

If you have information regarding the whereabouts of these men, kindly contact Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on 086 1234 333.

All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was contacted by a 34 year old female on Sunday 14/04/2024 requesting urgent assistance.

She informed Officers that her husband of three years had robbed her of jewels, a white GWM car & strangled her with the assistance of two men who loaded her limp body into a vehicle.

According to the woman, her husband had accused her of having an affair with her ex-boyfriend. The woman woke up on the seat of silver Toyota Etios while a coloured male was attempting to dump her body in a sugar cane field.

This incident occurred on 13/03/2024. She sustained serious injuries (pictures 18 & 19).

A team of Reaction Officers recovered the victims car within 18 hours in rural Umzinto in Kwazulu Natal yesterday (Monday).

The Officers then followed up on 129 tip-offs between Jozini in the KZN North Coast to Mtata in the Eastern Cape since Sunday night and tracked the womans husband Ramith Aneerudh (37), his accomplice Kyle Clayton (40) and a female Natasha Nell (42) to a home in Coffee Bay (picture 16). They were hiding out at a one room home on a mountain side.

The Officers later recovered the silver Toyota Etios used to dump the victims body (picture 17) in rural Coffee Bay.

The vehicle was seized and Reaction Officers arrested Nell when they learnt that she had loaned her vehicle to transport the strangled wife & had been sending intimidating messages to the victim in an attempt to discourage her from pursuing the criminal case.

Reaction Officers interviewed Clayton who is currently on parole for a double murder & several Armed Robberies.

He informed Officers that he was forced to transport the body and was surprised when the victim came back to life. He added that she had jumped from the moving vehicle and he fled fearing arrest.

Reaction Officers then interviewed Aneerudh who explained that he attempted to kill his wife as he could no longer maintain her expensive lifestyle.

He added that his wife had insisted on staying at a five star hotel almost weekly for two years at a cost of R300 000.

During an argument she threatened to dump him for a wealthier man if he could not support her lifestyle. He further explained that on the day of the incident he had checked out of the expensive five star hotel in Umhlanga - KZN after booking in for a month.

He then decided to kill his wife. Aneerudh informed Officers that he had a rope in his pocket and intended committing suicide by hanging when he learned that RUSA Officers were searching for him. A fourth suspect is still at large.

All suspects were detained at SAPS Coffee Bay.

Update:

Police Solicit Bribe In Husband/Wife Strangulation Case: Coffee Bay - Eastern Cape

In the recording attached, a Senior Member of the South African Police Services (SAPS) can be heard soliciting a R30 000 bribe from the families of three (3) suspects arrested by Reaction Officers in Coffee Bay - Eastern Cape last night (Tuesday).

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) dispatched a team to the Eastern Cape approximately 540 kilometres from the scene of a Kidnapping & Attempted Murder that occurred in Amazamtoti - Kwazulu Natal.

Reaction Officers arrested the victims husband Ramith Aneerudh and two accomplices Natasha Nell & Kyle Clayton. They were detained at Coffee Bay SAPS.

The trio were responsible for strangling Aneerudh’s wife and attempting to dump her limp body in a sugarcane field. She survived the attempt on her life and is currently at a safe location.

The team of Reaction Officers worked throughout the night in the mountainous area in Coffee Bay and recovered the vehicle, a silver Toyota Etios used in the crime.

The Officers secured the vehicle for 14 hours and handed the scene to the South African Police Service on their arrival.

On route back to Kwazulu Natal the Reaction Officers were informed that a high ranking member of the Police Service were contacting the suspects family requesting a R15 000 bribe for himself & a further R15 000 for other Policemen who would assist in the suspects escaping from custody.

As discussed in the recording, the Police would stage an escape from custody and set the suspects free.

When the family advised that the R30 000 in cash was not immediately available, the Policeman requested other family contact details.

He eventually called the family of all three of the suspects, providing bank account details and alternate contact numbers. One of the voice recordings is attached.

Reaction Officers tracked the contact details to a Colonel in the South African Police Services (SAPS).

It was also established that the number used to solicit the bribes was the same number the Policeman used to contact Reaction Officers this morning to gather more information on the arrests and detention.

Reaction Officers are in possession of several recordings, images of the Policeman and his bank accounts details he provided to the suspects family.

Reaction Officers, the victim/wife & witnesses in this matter have been placed on high alert.
