3 DIE IN BUS COLLISION ON N2 NEAR ELYSIUM

Monday evening Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N2 near Elesium for reports of a collision.

When emergency services arrived they found that a bus had lost control and left the road overturning down an embankment.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient had sustained critical injuries, and a further 23 patients had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Sadly 3 occupants had sustained fatal injuries and had succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.

Emergency services are still currently busy on scene searching under the bus for more patients.
