Three (3) people were injured and a hen was killed in a collision involving two (2) vehicles on an unpaved road in Osindisweni - KZN
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call for assistance from a passerby at approximately 14:28.
On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered that a white Toyota Hiace taxi and a white Isuzu bakkie collided head on.
The driver of the minibus and two passengers sustained injuries. They were stabilized on scene before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
The Isuzu bakkie was transporting a goat, four (4) chickens, alcohol and groceries.
The animals were to be slaughtered at a function. One chicken (picture 2) was killed in the collision.
It was alleged that the mini bus was travelling on the wrong side of the road prior to the collision.
