Toilet Rolls Stolen By Business Burglary Suspects in Phoenix - KZN

Two (2) suspects were arrested, stolen goods and a vehicle used in the commission of a crime was recovered in Phoenix - KZN yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

At approximately 18:41, Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a tip off of suspicious activity at a business premises.

Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival met with an individual claiming to be an employee of the business.

He advised Reaction Officers that there was no threat and they could leave. He behaved in a suspicious manner. Officers requested to escort him into the premises.

They discovered a second male standing next to a grey VW Polo. The vehicle was loaded with bails of toilet paper stolen from the business.

RUSA Members immediately restrained the two (2). The owner of the business was requested to attend the scene and on arrival confirmed that both suspects were unknown to him.

The suspects, their vehicle and the stolen goods were handed over to the Phoenix SAPS for further investigation.
