Umhlathuze Municipality Bodyguards fatal shooting

uMhlathuze Municipality reports a tragic shooting at its head office in Richard's Bay. The South African Police Service confirms two fatalities among municipal workers.

Report says a bodyguard shot and killed a colleague at municipal offices. Another bodyguard intervened, shooting the suspect dead in the process.

Bright Zulu (municipal manager bodyguard and son)and Ntokozo Mthembu (mayors body guard) lost thier lives emanating from a misunderstanding in where Mthembu pumped several bullets into Zulu instantly taking his life.

Zulu's colleagues in response pumped several bullets into Mthembu who too instantly died.

Forensic pathology services removed the bodies,SAPS collected evidence.

Investigations are continuing.
