So people really want to enter into this fundraising tactic by the government? You withdraw, they tax you and you will be out of pocket in the future 👌🤷🏾‍♂️

This is just a useless exercise. People will just be donating money to SARS and come next year you'll be told that you owe SARS x amount of money

Great idea but these guys are only doing this to collect more revenue. Also the banks would fight because the settlement amount is much less than the bond payable over many years.

Why not have another option and make it possible for people to settle their mortgage instead. For example, you have a balance of 500k in your mortgage, why not allow employees to approach the bank and make SARS settle that amount? Some people want to settle serious debt.

Most definitely...during the budget speech the finance minister said they are looking at making over R5 BILLION rands from the withdrawals

Unfortunately they will reach and even exceed this target!!!

Unfortunately when you resign you won't be able to take the whole lump sum, but you will be paid monthly
Go to GEPF and come back to report, that is why people are resigning

No one who is waiting to withdraw this money on 1 September will put it to good use just leave it there you'll take it when you resign
